Much needed revamp!

Updated: May 1, 2020

I'm excited to update the website and introduce a better blogging system!

Welcome to the new EvrSett English Setters website! Please be patient with me as I learn the ins and outs of not only blogging, but updating the site with new (and old) posts!

Some days, I'm too old for this!

So, can you really teach an old dog new tricks?

With the craziness of the Covid19 outbreak around the world, it would seem that the show circuit might be postponed for a while. While super disappointing, it will bring us here at EvrSett time to pursue other adventures such as field work and litters.

A New Website?

Along with these adventures, I wanted to explore the world of blogging and update the very outdated EvrSett website. I needed something quicker and simpler for me to access. Let me give you a few reasons why- homeschooling, small hobby farm, three small kids...need I say more? In fact, in the last 15 minutes it's taken me to start typing this, I've been interrupted by 2 crying kids and one looking for a lost lego.

To say the least, this is definitely teaching an old dog new tricks. I am not in the least very digitally savvy, but I guess the best way to learn is to jump right in.

A little of this and that

Life is messy, so why not add some dog hair to it?

I hope to bring you a fun, light-hearted, yet informative blog. I'll share with you my passion for dogs, education, and the ins and outs of a real, working, messy family with lots of love and dog hair to go around.

For the love of dogs

All in all, a connection with our pet is one of the most rewarding blessings one can have. I hope that this blog will help you learn to connect and appreciate the love, quirks, (and slobber) that is an English Setter.
